Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Project :

Turnkey consultancy services for installation and operation of sanitary napkin manufacturing unit which includes –

• Identification of manufacturing area and guidance for installation or renovation as per requirement
• All machineries, equipment and raw materials with respect to the project
• Capacity building for the Production, Marketing and Accounts team members
• Guidance for obtaining Quality Certificate as per BIS standards
• Handholding support for 6-18 months (or as per requirement)

Services – Livelihood Training and Handholding :

• FULCRUM is long engaged in training and mentoring the Self Help Group members and unemployed youth, having trained Self Help Group Members of various districts including Purulia, and Birbhum.
• We have also conducted three-day training program for the members of ‘Nehru Yuva Kendra’ (NYK), Malda to initiate them in manufacturing and marketing sanitary napkins.
• Conceptualized and implemented ‘PINK FLAG MOVEMENT ®’ which is an innovative Social Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) initiative in South 24 Paraganas and Nadia. The main components of the programmes are: Capacity building on menstrual health and Hygiene and Waste Management for the officials in cascading mode organized at all the blocks and each of the 187 GPs.
